For multi-site care operators

One fire-door standard across every home in the group.

Every home inspected to the same standard, recorded in one register, and reported at group level so you can see where the risk actually sits.

  • One inspection standard
  • Photographic evidence
  • Group-wide register
  • Defect tracking
  • Board-level reporting

For care groups, multi-site operators and regional providers across London, the East of England and the East Midlands.

The Problem

Every home is compliant in its own way, and none of it rolls up.

When each home appoints its own contractor, you end up with as many inspection standards as you have homes.

  • Each home using a different contractor and a different report format
  • No group-level view of which homes are behind
  • Registered managers holding their own records locally
  • Defects categorised inconsistently from one home to the next
  • Regional managers chasing paperwork instead of running homes
  • Board and insurer reporting assembled by hand every quarter
  • A finding in one home that probably applies to several others
  • Newly acquired homes taken on with no fire-door history at all

The problem isn't inspecting the doors.
It's holding one standard, one register and one view across the whole group.

The Programme

One programme. Every door. One place to see what's happening.

Six stages, run in order, on every building we look after.

Inspect

Door-by-door inspection with photographic evidence, carried out by an FDIS-certified inspector.

Record

Every finding linked to the property and to the individual door it belongs to.

Prioritise

Defects categorised red, amber or green, so your team knows what needs attention first.

Resolve

Outstanding actions tracked through to completion, with a fixed price against each one.

Reinspect

Follow-up inspections organised, and completed works re-checked before they are signed off.

Report

Clear documentation at property and portfolio level, ready for whoever asks to see it.

What's Included

The Group Fire-Door Compliance Programme

The same inspection in every home, the same ratings, and one place to see all of it.

  • 01

    One inspection standard

The same door-by-door methodology in every home, so findings from one site mean the same thing as findings from another.

  • 02

    Photographic inspection record

A photograph of every door in every home, dated and filed against the room or area it serves.

  • 03

    Group fire-door register

One register across the group, filterable by home, by region and by defect status.

  • 04

    Consistent defect prioritisation

Red, amber and green applied identically everywhere, so homes can be compared on like-for-like risk.

  • 05

    Remedial action schedule

Fixed-price works per home, priced per door, so regional budgets can be set rather than estimated.

  • 06

    Reinspection tracking

Completed works re-checked and signed off by us, home by home.

  • 07

    Rolling inspection programme

Every home scheduled across the year, so no home quietly falls off the cycle.

  • 08

    Group and board reporting

Portfolio reporting produced from the register, ready for your board, your insurer and your regional teams.

Why Us

Sounds good. Can these people actually do it?

A fair question. Here is what stands behind every inspection.

  • FDIS-certified inspectorsInspections carried out by certified fire door inspectors, with the certificate number printed on the report.
  • A documented methodologyThe same inspection process on every door: gaps, seals, hinges, closers, glazing, signage and certification.
  • Fully insuredPublic liability and professional indemnity insurance in place, evidence available on request.
  • Photographic reportingA photograph of every door, dated and filed against that door, not a representative sample.
  • Digital documentationA register you hold, in a format you can search, share and hand over.
  • Clear defect categorisationRed, amber and green ratings with a plain-English note on what is wrong and what it needs.
How It Works

Getting started takes three steps.

Your team doesn't need to build the system. We do.

Send us the group

Your home list with approximate door counts. Whatever records you hold centrally today are enough to start.

We build the inspection programme

We set one standard, agree the rolling schedule across the year, and confirm what reporting you need at group level.

We inspect and report

Homes are inspected to the schedule and the group register updates as they complete, so your board view is never out of date.

Our Guarantee

We guarantee the part we control.

Our Reporting Guarantee

If your agreed inspection report isn't delivered within 5 working days of the completed inspection, we provide that report at no charge.

And if we miss an agreed inspection date through an error on our side, we reschedule it at no additional charge.

Questions

Questions We Get Asked

Some homes already have contractors.
That is normal. We can start in one or two homes, then consolidate at the pace that suits your contracts.
Can we start with one region?
Yes. Most groups start with a single home or region, compare the output to what they get now, and expand from there.
Do you handle the repairs?
Yes. Every failed door gets a fixed-price quote. Repairs are carried out by a fire door joiner and re-checked by us before sign-off. Homes can also use their own contractors.
Who holds the records?
You do. The register is yours at group level and at home level, and you can export it or hand it to another provider at any time.
Are your inspectors checked?
FDIS-certified, insured and DBS-checked, with identification carried on site and the certificate number printed on every report.
Do you cover our area?
We work out of Norwich and cover everything within about a three-hour drive, which runs from London up to Lincoln and across to Leicester and Nottingham. Cambridge, Ipswich, Peterborough, Colchester, Chelmsford, Luton, Milton Keynes and Northampton are all comfortably inside that. Further afield by arrangement.
